At Fintopia Financial Services (ARN-115652), we believe every investor deserves to know their rights
and understand their responsibilities. This page is prepared in accordance with the SEBI Investor
Charter (October 2021), AMFI Master Circular January 2026, and applicable SEBI regulations. We are
committed to ensuring every client is treated fairly, transparently, and with the highest
professional standards.
PART A | YOUR RIGHTS AS AN INVESTOR
Right 1 — Right to Information
You have the right to receive complete, accurate, and timely information about:
- All scheme-related documents — SID, SAI, and KIM — before making any investment
- The risk profile of every Mutual Fund scheme including the SEBI Riskometer rating
- Total Expense Ratio (TER) for both Direct and Regular Plans of every scheme
- Exit load structure, lock-in periods, and redemption conditions for every scheme
- Past performance of the scheme — though past performance does not guarantee future returns
- All fees, commissions, and charges — whether paid by you directly or by the AMC on your behalf
- Any material changes to the scheme, fund manager, or AMC that may affect your investment
Right 2 — Right to Know Commission & Charges
You have the right to know every rupee earned by your Mutual Fund Distributor:
- Fintopia Financial Services receives trailing commission from AMCs on your Regular Plan
investments as part of the Total Expense Ratio (TER) — this is not an additional charge to you
- You can see the exact commission earned by Fintopia Financial Services in your Consolidated
Account Statement (CAS) from CAMS / KFintech / MF Central
- You can compare expense ratios between Direct Plans and Regular Plans at amfiindia.com at any
time
- Fintopia Financial Services will disclose commission details at the time of investment upon your
request — no questions asked
- Fintopia Financial Services does NOT charge any additional fees, transaction charges, or
advisory fees directly from you
- You always have the right to invest in Direct Plans directly through AMC portals at lower
expense ratios
Right 3 — Right to Choose & Switch
- You have the full right to choose any scheme, AMC, or investment platform without any pressure
from Fintopia Financial Services
- You can switch your investments to another distributor at any time without any penalty from
Fintopia Financial Services
- You can redeem your investments partially or fully at any time subject to the scheme's exit load
and lock-in conditions
- You can request a change of distributor (ARN transfer) by submitting a written request to the
concerned AMC
Right 4 — Right to Fair Treatment & No Mis-Selling
- You have the right to be protected from mis-selling, misrepresentation, and inappropriate
product recommendations
- No investment recommendation will be made without first understanding your financial goals, risk
appetite, and investment horizon
- Fintopia Financial Services will never recommend a product based on commission rates received
from AMCs
- If any investment is outside your assessed risk profile, you will be informed in writing before
the transaction
- You will never be pressured, rushed, or intimidated into making any investment decision
- Insurance is the subject matter of solicitation. Fintopia Financial Services is an
IRDAI-licensed intermediary (Licence No.: ICI01726015)
Right 5 — Right to Grievance Redressal
You have the right to a fair, prompt, and effective grievance redressal at multiple

Right 6 — Right to Account Statements & Records
- You will receive a transaction confirmation from the AMC within 2 working days of every
transaction
- You are entitled to receive a Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) every month if you have had a
transaction, and half-yearly if your portfolio is active
- Your CAS is available anytime at mfcentral.com, camsonline.com, and mfs.kfintech.com
- You can request duplicate statements, account details, or transaction history from the AMC at
any time — free of charge
Right 7 — Right to Data Privacy & Protection
- All personal data collected by Fintopia Financial Services is protected under the Digital
Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA 2023)
- Your data will never be sold, shared, or rented to any third party for marketing purposes
- You have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data held by
Fintopia Financial Services
- All transaction and investment data is retained for a minimum of 8 years as required by SEBI and
PMLA 2002
- Contact our Data Protection Officer at support@fintopiafinserv.com for any data privacy
concerns
Right 8 — Right to Nomination
- You have the right to nominate a family member or person of your choice for all your Mutual Fund
folios
- You can add, change, or delete a nominee at any time by submitting a nomination form to the
AMC
- In the event of the investor's demise, the nominee can claim investments through the AMC up to
Rs. 15 Lakhs without legal proceedings
Right 9 — Right to Unclaimed Investments
- You can trace lost or inactive investments using the MITRA portal at mitra.amfiindia.com
- Unclaimed redemption amounts and dividends can be reclaimed from the AMC at any time — there is
no time limit
Right 10 — Right to Investor Education
- You have the right to access free investor education from AMFI at amfiindia.com and
mutualfundssahihai.com
- You can access NAV, fund performance, and expense ratios for all schemes free of charge at
amfiindia.com
- You can verify the ARN and registration of any Mutual Fund Distributor at amfiindia.com
PART B | YOUR OBLIGATIONS AS AN INVESTOR
Obligation 1 — Provide Accurate Information
- Provide complete, accurate, and up-to-date personal and financial information at all times
- Immediately inform Fintopia Financial Services and the AMC / KRA of any change in name, address,
mobile number, email, or bank details
- Ensure your KYC is always current — outdated KYC can result in transactions being rejected
- Never provide false or misleading information — this constitutes a regulatory violation
Obligation 2 — Complete KYC Before Investing
- KYC is mandatory for all investors before making any Mutual Fund investment
- Ensure your KYC is registered with a SEBI-registered KRA (CAMS KRA, CVL KRA, CKYC India, or NDML
KRA)
- NRI investors must complete FATCA/CRS declarations and provide required documentation
Obligation 3 — Read All Scheme Documents
- Read the Key Information Memorandum (KIM) before investing in any new scheme
- Understand the SEBI Riskometer for every scheme — do not invest in a risk category that does not
match your profile
- Review the exit load structure — especially for ELSS (3-year lock-in) and close-ended schemes
- Do not invest based solely on past performance — past performance does not guarantee future
returns
Obligation 4 — Maintain Confidentiality
- Never share your folio number, transaction PIN, OTP, or login credentials with anyone —
including Fintopia Financial Services staff
- Fintopia Financial Services will never ask for your password, PIN, or OTP — report immediately
if anyone does
- Be vigilant of phishing emails, fake portals, and fraudulent calls claiming to be from AMCs or
SEBI
- Never sign blank application forms, pre-signed authority letters, or blank transaction slips
Obligation 5 — Maintain Realistic Expectations
- Understand that Mutual Fund investments are subject to market risks — there are no guaranteed
returns
- Never invest borrowed money in equity Mutual Funds
- Maintain a long-term perspective — avoid panic redemptions during market corrections
- Review your portfolio periodically with Fintopia Financial Services and rebalance based on your
changing goals
Obligation 6 — Comply with Tax Obligations
- Report all Mutual Fund gains accurately in your Income Tax Return (ITR)
- ELSS investments qualify for deduction under Section 80C up to Rs. 1.5 Lakhs per annum
- Tax laws are subject to change — consult a qualified tax advisor for specific tax advice
