"AMC"	Asset Management Company — the entity that manages Mutual Fund schemes
"SEBI"	Securities and Exchange Board of India — the securities market regulator
"AMFI"	Association of Mutual Funds in India — the mutual fund industry body

2. Nature of Services — MFD, Not an Investment Adviser

Fintopia Financial Services provides the following services as a licensed intermediary:

• Facilitating purchase, redemption, and switch of Mutual Fund units on behalf of investors
• Distributing insurance products as an IRDAI-licensed intermediary
• Distributing Specialised Investment Funds (SIF) as an AMFI-registered SIF distributor
• Providing general financial information and educational content for investor awareness
• Providing financial calculators and planning tools for illustrative and educational purposes
• Publishing educational blog articles and newsletter on personal finance and investing

• You must complete KYC formalities before any investment transaction
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, OTPs, and transaction details
• You must promptly inform Fintopia Financial Services of any change in your financial situation, risk profile, or contact details
• You are responsible for meeting your tax obligations arising from investments made through Fintopia Financial Services
• You must not share your folio number, account details, or transaction history with unauthorized persons

10. Commission Disclosure

Fintopia Financial Services receives trailing commission from AMCs on Regular Plan Mutual Fund investments. This commission is part of the Total Expense Ratio (TER) and is not an additional charge to investors.

• The exact commission earned by Fintopia Financial Services on your investments is visible in your Consolidated Account Statement (CAS)
• Fintopia Financial Services does not receive any non-cash benefits, gifts, or incentives from any AMC
• All recommendations are based on investor suitability — never on commission rates

Your use of this website and our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms & Conditions by reference. Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA 2023). Fintopia Financial Services reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to our website or services at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe:

• Violates these Terms & Conditions or applicable law
• Is harmful to other users, Fintopia Financial Services, AMCs, or any third party
• Involves fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activities

Termination does not affect your existing investment positions, which remain with the respective AMCs independent of Fintopia Financial Services.
